The mission of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Foundation:

The Foundation supports the goals of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and works to foster a collaborative effort between members of the Department and the community. The Foundation works to fill any void between governmental funding and the needs of the community. The Foundation works to raise awareness of the Sheriff’s Department, its functions, operations, and programs. The Foundation, through private contributions, raises funds to purchase equipment, materials, and supplies for the Sheriff’s Department which are not provided in the annual budget.
